We are looking forward to welcoming you at our exclusive free networking lunch in Manchester.

Procurement is uniquely placed to be a powerful force in driving forward an organisation’s sustainability strategy due to its influence on where spend is placed by the organisation and the strategic relationships it develops and nurtures.

Stephen Henry, co-founder of Positive Planet, will present an overview of the regulatory landscape, as well as providing insight into how sustainability can be embedded into the procurement process, including how to effectively rate and score supplier’s sustainability credentials.

Warren Kozera will share Barkers’ carbon-neutral journey and plans to increase its carbon handprint through influencing carbon-neutral planning and supporting its delivery amongst client settings.

Carl Thompson will discuss how technology can support your procurement process to be values-driven, placing sustainability at the heart of your procurement function.

Over lunch you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your strategy, long-term vision, and useful suggestions for driving change with peers over lunch.

Who Should Attend
Senior procurement professionals who are working towards or planning a supply chain sustainability strategy as part of their organisation’s overall ESG strategy and individuals working within the procurement function who are responsible for implementing procurement’s supply chain sustainability strategy.

What You Will Get Out of This Session
• Enhanced ideas to develop your procurement sustainability strategy in both a practical and strategic way.
• A broader and richer network of procurement professionals to facilitate knowledge share and best practice.
